Awards
Center and State Achievement Certificates

The National Music Certificate Program is replacing the Center and State Medals of Excellence with Center and State Certificates of Excellence. Achievement Certificates are awarded to eligible candidates each year for every level up to Grade 10. Certificates of Excellence are given on the basis of examination results. No application is required.

Center Certificates of Excellence
Center Certificates of Excellence are given for each academic year (September 1 to August 31) to the candidates in Preparatory A, Preparatory B, and Grades 1 to 10 who have obtained the highest marks in each grade in the respective centers.

To qualify for these awards, candidates must have obtained at least 80 percent in the practical examination and have completed the co-requisite theory examinations for their respective grades.


State Certificates of Excellence
The National Music Certificate Program awards State Certificates of Excellence each academic year (September 1 to August 31) to the candidates in Preparatory A, Preparatory B, and Grades 1 to 10 who have obtained the highest marks in each grade in their respective state.

To qualify for these awards, candidates must have obtained at least 80 percent in the practical examination and have completed the co-requisite theory examinations for their respective grades, where required.

Center and State Certificates of Excellence are awarded on the basis of examination results. No application is required.
